Even if you can’t believe it, the year 2023 is almost here, and technological advancements in cameras are still happening at dizzying speed. Gear nerds are living in an exciting period, but there is no such thing as a perfect camera. What features would you most want to have integrated into your camera if you had the chance? This great video discusses things many of us look forward to seeing in the upcoming year.
Leigh & Raymond Photography brought this informative video to your attention. They explain some of the features that many photographers hope to see in 2023. Built-in solid-state drives are a feature that I would want to see integrated into cameras if I had my choice. While studying the Hasselblad X2D 100C, I found that the built-in 1 TB SSD was one of the device’s most impressive features.
If you are anything like me, you probably have a drawer full of memory cards with varied formats, capacities, and speeds. It may be tedious (and expensive) to ensure that your memory cards are up to date enough that they are compatible with the most recent cameras.
This problem is remedied by the solid-state drive (SSD), and given the speeds of contemporary SSDs, it is generally safe to say that they are capable of keeping up with even the quickest cameras; in addition, they are convenient. You can get all the details by watching the video that’s been embedded above.
